Held under the theme “Housing the World: Safe and Resilient Cities and Communities,” WUF13 placed global attention on one of the most urgent challenges facing cities today – the growing housing crisis. The Forum explored how housing can serve as a foundation for inclusive, resilient, and sustainable cities through innovative policies, climate-responsive urban planning, affordable housing solutions, and stronger community participation. Throughout the six-day programme, WUF13 hosted high-level dialogues, roundtables, exhibitions, networking events, technical sessions, and partner-led initiatives focused on advancing sustainable urban solutions.

Representatives of the Swiss Embassy in Baku attended various sessions of WUF13, engaging in discussions on sustainable urban development, resilience, and international cooperation. Switzerland’s longstanding commitment to sustainability, innovation, and multilateral dialogue aligns closely with the Forum’s objectives and global urban agenda.
